Electrical Planner (Code: EP)




Reports to Methods Manager, the candidate is responsible to:

  • Define the detailed methodology for carrying out all the jobs according to priorities, required resources, skills coordination and supervision.
  • Ensure that all the necessary materials are available for the planned operations and meet the required quantity and quality timely.
  • Prepare time and cost estimates for work orders and job plans to help optimising resources allocation.
  • Formalise and update; detailed job-plans for important electrical operations (technically and/or financially important), records and statistics, and technical documentation.
  • Define specifications of sub-contracted jobs together with the Head of Electrical Department.
  • Draw up regular inventories of the spare parts and ensure their availability in co-ordination with the warehouse.
  • Maintain and update information and data in the CMMS (Maximo).
  • Plan major equipment annual overhauls.
  • Draw up the technical specifications for the purchase of the spare parts.
  • Manage general and specific technical documentation and the equipment codification.


General Requirements:

  • Must possess at least Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
  • Having 5 to 10 years working experiences in cement or similar industry, preferred with multinational companies, which some years experience as Electrical Planner.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical equipment.
  • Technical knowledge of preventive, predictive and systematic maintenance (databases, CMMS, Project Software).
  • Safety rules and regulations, and Knowledge of quality management methods (ISO 9002).
  • Knowledge of cement process is desirable.
  • Computer literacy and English proficiency is a must.
