Our Client, a having its operation in Papua, urgently needs the following position:



MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER



Specific Requirement:

  • Possesses S1 Technical/ mechanical degree with minimum 4 years experience of related experience in mechanical at a Coal Fired Power Plant or equivalent industry.
  • Diploma-3 Polytechnic in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 6 years experience of related experience in mechanical at a Coal Fired Power Plant or equivalent industry.

Knowledge / Skill:

  • Possess a good understanding of thermal power plant systems including theory and operation of steam turbine generators and high pressure boilers and piping.
  • Possess practical understanding of PLC and DCS control systems.
  • Possess good mechanical mathematic and computer software skills.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze engineering and piping and instrument drawings.
  • Good speaking and writing communication skills in both bahasa Indonesia and English.
  • Good leadership skills.
  • Highly motivated, works independently with minimal supervision.
  • Wiling to accept responsibility and authority.
  • Ability to analyze abnormal conditions and make recommendations for corrective action.
  • Ability to facilitate and organize team approach to problem solving.

Main Responsibility:

Provide and perform sound onsite Plant Engineering principles and the leadership needed to ensure short term and long term operational reliability in meeting the power plant and power systems safety, efficiency, production, and financial goals while providing the electrical energy needs to the customers mining and milling processes.
