Mechanical Engineer - Kiln (Code: MEK)


Reports to Head of Mechanical Manager, the candidate is responsible to:

  • Execute and ensure the quality of maintenance work to be carried out on mechanical equipment, respecting budget, policies and deadlines.
  • Contribute in his field, to the development of working methods and definition of procedures and ensure their implementation.
  • Optimize maintenance operations, using best available tools and procedures in order to maximise equipment availability.
  • Ensure proper day-to-day scheduling of works and necessary resources.
  • Ensure completion of major operations within schedule (yearly overhaul).
  • Ensure, upon completion of repairs, that equipment is in good operating condition, ready to meet operational requirements, fully inspected, tested, clean and safe.
  • Provide reporting on repair jobs including consumption of materials, specific tools, man-hours skills, and fills equipment history files.
  • Take adequate actions when mechanical incidents occur and to ensure working conditions in safety matter.


General Requirements:

  • Must possess at least Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering. Having 5 to 10 years working experiences in Cement industry preferred with Multi National Companies background.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and motor circuits.
  • Knowledge of gearboxes, transmissions, welding techniques, lubrication, non-destructive tests and general mechanics.
  • Knowledge of cement process is desirable.
  • English proficiency and Computer literacy is a must.
